Mount Eden is over 650sqm in size and has two double garages with remote access. The property is 4500sqm’s in size. The house has numerous split levels at ground level and is double storey in the main. A paved driveway leads up a tree lined avenue to the house, ensuring seclusion and privacy from the road and neighbours.
A rock pool and water feature, provide the central focus to the circular driveway and parking for another 6 vehicles is available.
A dining room with an 8 seater handcrafted teak dining table and large sideboard is used to serve breakfast on cooler days. An african rosewood bar adds the finishing touch to the dining area.
The lounge has a jetmaster fireplace and plasma TV, PVR decoder and surround sound built into a teak wall unit. This formal lounge leads out onto a thatch covered, patio with braai and dining area. The patio overlooks the large free form swimming pool and heated jacuzzi, which are enclosed by a wall to ensure maximum privacy.
An atrium under skylight and marble tiled entrance hall welcomes you to the guest house. An oak and granite topped kitchen with scullery, pantry and modern appliances is situated next to the dining room. Accommodation for two staff is on site.
Apart from the accommodation described above, the house has a large office/reception area, which is staffed by our office administrator and personal assistant, from 8am to 5pm weekdays. Internet and fax facilities are available and we can also arrange transfers and tours. Dinner reservations according to your requirements can also be recommended and made. We are happy to provide suggestions regarding travel within SA and neighbouring countries, based on the owners’ extensive travels and knowledge of the sub region, particularly with regards to wildlife and birding.
